Grantee Spotlight: Families Helping Families NOLA’s (FHFNOLA) mission is to educate and empower individuals with disabilities, their families, and the community by providing programming, resources, training, and family-to-family support. One of their targeted programs is Computing for Youth with Autism—Pathway to Career Success. The program’s mission is to teach computing skills to transitioning youth, between the ages of 16-24, who have a diagnosis on the Autism spectrum (ASD), and to assist them in securing and maintaining employment in the high paying technology sector.

This program started in 2019, under the direction of FHFN’s Executive Director, Aisha Johnson, who is also the mother of three boys on the Autism spectrum. We are thankful for her leadership and work to ensure that all youth have the opportunity to learn lifelong skills that will help them build a successful future!
